Hi,

Went back to vinyl in 2015,year that I took my retirement as a teacher.
Got myself a TT,an integrated amp and a pair of speakers.
First cartridge,an Ortofon Red followed by a Nagaoka MP 110 and finally my AT VM540ML:this is the one that made me rediscover my vinyl collection and still today the best sound for me..

Thanks for sharing! I have the Ortofon Red and the Nagaoka MP 110: both great. I’ve heard the VM540ML but don’t own one as yet. Great cartridge. I’m hoping to review one on the website soon, it’s a good’n!

I am a bit of a vinyl addict and currently have 17 turntables (15 of which are fully operational). This means that I have a large number of cartridges (more than one per deck!).
I use the Audio Technic ATVM95 range of MM cartridges extensively, mainly due to the general quality and the flexibility of having a range of five interchangeable styli. This allows me to use the bonded elliptical ATVM95E for reviewing 2nd hand vinyl prior to putting it up for sale on Discogs, which I can then change for a microline or a shibata stylus for personal listening.
My favourite deck is a Garrard 301 in a custom plinth, fitted with an Origin Live Encounter arm and the Audio Technica ATOC9XEN MC cartridge. I find that this set-up gives a very detailed soundstage, but also with a generally warm sound. This set-up tracks all of the HI-FI Sound test record tests at the recommended tracking weight of 2g and also seems to minimise the effects of minor surface noise.
Amongst others, I also have an Ortofon Quintet Red MC and 2M Blue MM on other decks, both of which I like.

I was in Liverpool at the Albert Dock, waiting for a tour to start. It was windy as anything. Huddled in my coat, I opened spinogambino on my mobile. I’ve had bad experiences with other sites not paying out, so I was cautious. Played small stakes. The roulette wheel was kind to me today. Landed on black five times in a row. Withdrew the winnings straight away to test them, and it was surprisingly quick. Pleasantly surprised.

Nou, tijdens het lezen van ervaringen van andere spelers uit Nederland ontdekte ik een online casino dat me nieuwsgierig maakte. Ik besloot het zelf te proberen via blazing wildz bonus en begon met een bescheiden storting. Op Extra Chilli verloor ik eerst meer dan gepland en twijfelde ik even om te stoppen, maar na een iets grotere inzet activeerde ik een bonusspel met een stevige winst. Dat gaf me precies dat gevoel van casino-opwinding waar ik naar zocht en daarom speel ik er nog steeds.
