Just found out my favourite sportsbook Bet365 got blocked by my provider and I’m pretty bummed about it. Been playing there for over three years and now I can’t get in no matter what browser I try. Even rebooting the router didn’t change anything. Gambling laws here in Canada are pretty strict, if a sportsbook rubs the regulators the wrong way it gets blocked just like that. Is there any way around this kind of block?

Oh, that’s pretty much the standard situation at this point. Canadian regulators won’t license certain sportsbooks and tell providers to block their sites. But everyone’s figured out VPNs by now and just keeps betting at whichever sportsbook they prefer.

Not everyone uses a VPN, to be fair. Free ones lag too much and not everyone wants to pay for a decent one just to place bets. Mirror sites are a free way around it. Sportsbooks set them up themselves so you can still get in when the main site’s blocked. Look up current Bet365 mirror sites here https://betclone.com/mirror.shtml . You can keep going with your bets like nothing happened. Works on any browser and you don’t need to install anything extra.
