I’ve got a little terrace off the top floor of my house, and if I’m honest it’s always annoyed me that I never really use it. The only time I bother going out there is for a quick smoke when I’m up there. That’s the long and short of it. Now that summer’s finally here I fancy spending a bit more time out there. The views from up there are absolutely stunning and I hardly ever make the most of them. So I’m thinking of putting a small patio set out there, somewhere to sit, take in the scenery, have a brew and a smoke of my pipe. Where’s a decent place to look for patio furniture in the UK?

Yeah mate, sometimes you just want to sit down, stare into the distance and have a think with a cup of something you enjoy. Main thing is get decent furniture, you know how it is, the weather can do a number on cheap rubbish pretty quickly. Ikea actually has some decent options for that kind of thing.

Honestly, at one point I even upped sticks from a flat in the city centre and moved out to a house just to spend more time outdoors. And sometimes even on autumn evenings I sit out there wrapped in a warm blanket just taking in the views.
