I just want the convenience of being able to listen to my records on the go.  I do think it works well.  I followed the instructions on the site here and it wasn&#8217;t bad at all. </p>

I tend to purchase things one time and use them for many years so if I upgrade to a separate preamp I will need to do a lot of research and it will be a somewhat stressful decision.
